From the Field

Sohan Singh: “I was very happy to see the film crew here on the demonstration plot I have for Potash for Life. As farmers our traditional practice has been not very smart with fertilizer. We spent a lot of money but the results were variable.

Through the plot here, which I set up with the help of Potash for Life agronomist Anirudh Namdev, I can see that the investment in potash fertilizer brings good returns. It’s that simple.

I enjoy sharing that news and exactly how to use potash with any farmer who stops by here to see the results for themselves.”

Anirud Namdev: “You could think it is hard to explain everything we do in Potash for Life. But everything we do – farmer meetings, demo plots and the visits to farms – is about one thing: getting the best yield from giving the crop the right balance of nutrients in a simple application or two of potash.

The results we are getting are great. So is the reaction from the farmers we work with. That’s Potash for Life.”
